The Washington Post

In 2009 I got sub-contracted to build the new Going Out Guide for The Post. The project was a crashcourse in MAMP, Agile and SCRUM Methodology, and A/B Testing the WaPo way. I spent 3 months with a lead engineer building, testing, and crafting the experience of the guide.

BrowserCMS

In 2007 I started working for an agency and had my first taste of product design. I was brought on to design and build everything from advertising, to newsletters, launch large projects, support legacy systems, and design bespoke apps for the web and iPhone. In 2008 I started working on porting BrowserCMS to Rails. This involved learning MVC, redesigning the interface, and running user tests with the opensource community.
